Just out of curiosity. Will those of us who purchased the game here get a copy of the game when its released? Also how far off is it from being released?
I'm glad you brought this up because I've been curious about videogame pricing lately. Let's dive into it!
So a McDonalds Team Member makes $8.00 an hour by average, this means that currently you would have to fill chicken tendy orders for half an hour to afford this game, whereas in your proposal one would only have to fill tendy orders for fifteen minutes. I understand your side of this scenario because it cuts your required tendy production time in half, which is clearly desirable. However, how many minutes of tendy order fulfillment at McDonalds is this game really worth?
I'm reticent in my belief that you took the current game price valued in tendy production time and merely cut that number in half as this seems arbitrary given the lack of accompanying rigorous scientific data and no mention of tendies at all.
I do look forward to hearing a more detailed breakdown of your proposal and will consider it with half a tendy boxing hour worth of dedication.

While demanding to have a lower price is rather needy and also insulting to the hard work put into the game, I do also get the point. There is tons of free stuff around, so the average price of indie games is rather low.
For those people a simple line in the description might do, that the price is basically a one time payment instead of subscribing for one month on patreon.
As for me, a demo version would be good for customers like me. I do not know your stuff and not having a demo version discourages me from buying, because I wonder why this is so. This is not Steam where I can read tons of reviews and can give back a game shortly after purchase, if I have buyers remorse.
Very good points. I should probably do a lot of the things you mentioned I've just been focusing on improving as a game dev and haven't gotten to that side of things yet. I'm not the developer, nor am I a developer in any way. However, I have been following this game since its first release. The hours and months put into this game to get it to this point, when all previouse versions where free. I do believe he is offer a more than fair price for this game. Heck, using his own refrence, a 10 piece nuggy with fries and a soft drink cost more than twice the price of this game.
I think it's less about the $4 dollars and more about the fact that you're charging money for a game that should be free with the quality seen here.
I spent $4 dollars that I will never get back on something that is effectively jpgs of shittily drawn imps and catgirls with the occasional animated jpg.
On top of that, the idea is not even close to original and there are atleast 2 or 3 other games, namely Cloud Meadow or Breeding Season, that are they themselves not finished, and yet look and play 10x better.
The fact that you call this heap of code complete makes me laugh. $4 is robbery for this "product".
sounds like an overenthusiastic firewall or security software deleting all execs or you have an admin that doesn't allow installing new software. I can't really think what else might be causing that to happen
Those are likely the devs that sell an early version of their game and then "forget" to update it as they continue to work on it and give it out on Patreon for paying customers.

When you load from the main menu it puts your money at 1000 until you buy or sell something. Then it remembers how much your supposed to have.
The Night and Day visual do not line up with the in game time. It seams to continue to spin regardless of whatever else is going on. If I save in the morning and play till night time, then load the morning save the visual doesn't move. So now my night time is my day time. At least that's what it looks like to me so far
1. The Breeders Guide in the shack only has information by scrolling down in the small window. You need to drag it down with your mouse. (This could be improved in future updates but works)
2. Stat gain by + on a monster maxes out at 30 and you increase the modifier by having two creatures with + having a kid. the kid should have the sum of the two. (Saw this behavior with human character's kids, wish guide explained that)
3. Get Monster training ASP. you can use it to max out monster potential very quickly. Most important stat to max is Stamina
4. Get Innocent or have a maxed out mon with low corruption on your monsters this makes leveling the main character significantly easier without losing the game.
5. Early game get stats for a mon up and sell it's byproduct to afford food and Ranch upgrades. Sell breedjects and obsolete parents after you have monster lab maxed out you will be flowing with money.
Potential Issues:
We seem to only have one quest and no "win" condition for the game. This stalls game play after the first hour as there is only grind with nothing new or innovative to do. I could just be failing to find any quests other than the bar curse quest but if they exist some type of hint that they exist would be welcomed.)
There is a glitch upon doing the quest noted above that you get stuck in the bar. You can exit it by saving and then loading the file. The potion shop only buys Pit hydra's time without allowing you to actually offer up pit hydras.
Yea having it reproduce with anything might make it overpowered compared to other monsters. I know there's other people that would like to see that too tho so maybe I'll put it in next build and see how it plays. Could be interesting
Maybe you could make their reproduction rate lower then the other monsters. And/or they don't show up at the Market as often
Make them cost more to buy. They are more valuable to you because they fill both Male and Female slots in one, and if they don't show up to in the Market as often then they are Rare monsters Justifying Increased price as well
Having a lower Reproduction rate would explain why they aren't in the Market as often
I'm glad I could help. Adding in lore like that could explain why the game works a certain way. You Have the "Monster Ranchin for Dummies" In the Barn. Maybe you could put next to it a "Bestiary". Have a Pic of the monster with name, What role it plays in breeding, and a paragraph about it. Right now each monster has only one gender. So the roles would be Male, Female. If you come out with Male and Female versions of the monsters you can remove that piece. If you do make Male and Female of each monsters maybe cross breeding is harder. And Hybrids are an idea as well
For the longest time I thought that the Lobos was Futa and could Breed with the Bunnys or Imps, then I got the Monster Training building and it says MALE. Too Bad
After you get the Goblin Stamina For Roomie's Sister and go back to the tavern. There is no way to leave other than save and load. Then the potions shop asks for more monsters but wont accept any
in that version of the game you need to upgrade the pens at the workshop. then at the lake(pithydra) and market(lobos). the newest version doesnt have pen upgrades anymore you can just go and get them but the version here I think you still have to upgrade pens first
Thanks glad you're enjoying it! Lots of things coming, more quests, monsters, lore, and a competition in a monster festival which visits the town. Also more and better art. With the pen, for now you can have as many monsters in it as you want (which is probably a bad idea...) I should cap that and I can look at optimizing it as well
uhm idk i deleted a bunch of monster's to the point were i only had 4 it still dropped the fps badly.. but i think it was my character bc when i maxed her out i started having the issue but im not 100% sure?
is there no save system in the game yet? had my game freeze and lost all progress i had made and before that i was not able to find a way to manually save
Oh, a certain game is back ! ... Or at least that's what I feel. The drawing are not top tier, but they are still nice and that doesn't make that demo any less fun !
So, first, suggestions : 1. The Minotaur are rather annoying if they decide to come too often. Having a "cooldown" between each visit would be nice ! (if there is one, I missed it)
2. Knowing how much you have to pay them (would be nice : it's not that fun when they spawn the day you're low on money... (yes, not everyone enjoy some big minotaurs).
3. Adding a way to know what do each stats and trait without having to consult the book would be nice, something like a pop up on click.
4. The "tease" and "angry" traits seems to be downside more than anything else. I do think these traits should not increase the monster's price (in their current state)
5. Having a "menu" button may be nice for tablet users... (or one hand play, but don't say that)
6. Being able to see the value & max value of the stat could be somewhat useful ; especially since said value are also shown to the quest requirement.
7. The "tease" trait may use another name ; I would have assumed/hoped it was the kinky kind of tease ; when the actual trait is more being picky with their mates. (it would have been pretty fun to either let the partner tired after a teasing session, or pent up and wanting for more... but I digress)
8. The UI may use some improvement. Being able to gather all would be one. The buy/sell button town is also a bit awkward (I clicked multiple time on "buy" to try to buy a monster instead of "ok")

9. Will some monster have genders ? (for example, wolf girl & wolf boy)
10. Is there any futanari trait planned for monsters ?
11. Will a couple or female ; or male monster could "breed" together ? (not as in making children, but as in increasing each other stats. Since the breeder have + in all stats it could be useful if she could give a fun time to the female monster)
12. Is there a male or futa breeder planned ? (my personal preference are female breeder, or futa if it's the only way to interact with monsters,
13. Have you planned to add more mechanics to the game outside of breeding and stat raising ? Including things like compatibility between monster, and how they are willing to breed to each other ?
14. Any idea of the scope of the game, and how much you plan to add ? If yes, how big will it be ?
That being said, I'm looking forward to the next version of your game ! This first version was enjoyable to play, and now I'm left waiting for more content, and eventually a more polished UI.

The minotaur appearance makes the game harder and makes this game very grindy. Showering barely removes anything when you refuse to pay the minotaurs. I don't think the game should game over once you get 100% corruption.
Thanks for the feedback! Right now the game is technically an infinite grind because there is no winning. Once I add that I'll be looking more at balance. Try selling harvested materials after a few generations at the tavern, after a bit it makes a lot of silver
Also, have no idea how to get FAIR Stamina. But I found a nice loop to get money and managed to get the fence upgrade. A bug I found is the UI, if you saved while you talking with someone, you can not exit the dialogue at all. Thus is forced to reset.
Ah, thx I should have a fix for that in the next release. For stats you can buy/breed monsters with a plus symbol next to their stamina to get offspring with higher and higher stam

2. you might wanna avoid words like r@@ard and the such as those would make a decent chunk of players very uncomfortable on account of being slurs

For the first one I have some ideas for female monster types that can impregnate other female types that I'll likely add in the future. For the second one I can add an adult language filter once I get the options menu going. I'm glad you're enjoying the game thanks so much for the encouragement, I really appreciate it! :D
laptop, unfortunately I don't have way to check my settings to see what size the screen is. Part of my laptop is broke so I can't see the about 1 1/2 inches of the far left of my screen, which is where the settings are.

Sorry to hear about your laptop. I did some fixes that should help you out, try the new download hopefully it will work for you now
